Walk to School Week 15th-19th May
This week is national ‘Walk to School Week’ and we are encouraging all children and parents to do as much walking as they can.
We know that walking to school makes children feel healthier and happier, while reducing congestion and pollution outside the school gates.
Join thousands of children across the country celebrating the benefits walking brings.
Year 4 PGL Assembly
Well done Year 4. A great assembly all about our adventures at PGL. Just in case you were unable to attend we have loaded the powerpoint that accompanied the assembly.
The Great British Spring Clean
On Friday 21st April the children at Swallowfield Lower School took part in cleaning and litter picking both around our school and in the local area. Along with the rest of the country, we took our litter pickers, gloves and refuse sacks to pick up any litter we could find. Children in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 were busy collecting litter around our school, while Year 3 and Year 4 walked to the park in Station Road and around the Parklands area. Many thanks to the children and to all the adults involved. We were all showing our commitment to upholding our values!
