House Cup

At Swallowfield, our children are divided into four houses, each bearing the name of a different bird:

Robins

Kingfishers

Goldfinches

Woodpeckers

The children are encouraged to represent their houses in a wide variety of events throughout the year, ranging from football to spelling. Our year 6 children are given the opportunity to captain their respective houses.

The House Cup is awarded on a weekly basis to the house awarded the most House Points. The children’s achievements are rewarded with House Points. At Swallowfield, praise and positive reinforcement are at the heart of our ethos and the successes and well-being of the children always come first.
