More details to follow.

After the success of the Battle of the Bubbles, Swallowfield released its very own Christmas Special (I know! Who would have thought a school would have its own Christmas Special?)

This time, the focus was on the true meanings of the festive season. Sharing, fun and wearing silly hats whilst competing in ludicrous challenges.

The aim of this event was to spread happiness, bring the school community together and help the children focus on the positives in life even in uncertain times.

Check out the episodes below and watch this space for MORE exciting Swallowfield TV*.

*This is definitely not a thing. It just sounded good.

Swallowfield Lower School Proudly Presents The Battle of the Bubbles.

Here, in Swallowfield, we have been through a strange year and our school has been split into bubbles but now we want to find out which bubble is the best.

Episodes are released every Thursday and we will be watching along each week in school on a Friday afternoon.

Bubbles Day 2021

As part of the Summer Term, the whole school got to play along with the challenges/ games they had been watching for the previous 6 weeks in Battle of the Bubbles.

Safe to say, the children loved it and weather pulled out all the stops too.

Battle of the Bubbles: Win the Adverts Competition

Children had a chance to win exclusive prizes kindly provided to us by local businesses.

Battle of the Bubbles: Supporter House T-Shirt

To help raise money for the Swallowfield Legacy Project, children had the chance to buy their very own Battle of the Bubbles Supporter T-shirts. These were available in the School House colours and children are invited to wear them for PE days and other sporting events throughout the year. A great way of raising team morale.

Deep in the midst of one of the first lockdowns (it’s hard to keep track of them all). Swallowfield decided to extend their reach into the community, both with its children and their families. The result was an online series of videos based around the popular baking programme. It is safe to say that the children loved it and they even got to bake along with the show each week. Check out the episodes below.

Swallowfield Bake Off Recipe/ Souvenir Book

There are far too many negative impacts of the pandemic to mention but one positive from it all was the Community Swallowfield built in and around our school. After the Swallowfield Bake Off ended, we produced a hardbacked souvenir/ recipe book which included recipes from all the staff and the children’s very own Bake Off submissions. All proceeds went towards the Swallowfield Legacy Project.
