National Storytelling Week

National Storytelling Week Monday 29th 2018 – Friday 2nd January 2018

This week is National Storytelling week. Every day the children will be sharing some of their, and their teacher’s favourite stories. It would be fantastic if children could talk to you about their favourite stories and perhaps take the opportunity to read them together.

World Book Day Thursday 1st March 2018

We will be celebrating World Book Day this year on Thursday 1st March 2018. Children across the whole school are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. We look forward to seeing the children dressed up and celebrating their favourite books and characters.

Pantomime Visit to the MK Theatre

On the 9th and 11th January the children at Swallowfield had the chance to visit the Pantomime, Cinderella at the Milton Keynes Theatre.

We all thought it was a wonderful show and would like to thank the PTFA for paying for this event and allowing us the opportunity to go with our friends from schoool.
