The Magical Christmas Jigsaw Y2MP and Y1H performance has been rescheduled for Monday 18th December. Timings remain the same. We appreciate that this may not suit everyone and if you need to return tickets please do so at reception when school reopens. Thank you for your support.

School Closure- Monday 11th December

In discussion with our local middle school we have decided to close the school tomorrow due to adverse weather to ensure the safety of children, staff and parents.

We will endeavour to rearrange the performance of ‘The Magical Christmas Jigsaw’ for Y2MP and Y1H as soon as possible.

Winter Weather Guidance

Sunday 10th December 1:30pm – Updates will be posted as soon as available

In the event of a heavy fall of snow:

• Class registration will be taken at 9.15 to allow staff and children time to travel to school;
• Children will be allowed to have fun in the snow;
• Come in Wellington/Boots – don’t forget your hat, scarf and gloves;
• Bring a change of shoes;
• Bring a change of clothes (jogging bottoms are a good idea) and socks;
• If there is heavy snow during the day please listen to the radio;
• Please ring the school to advise them of arrangements for collection of your child if you are delayed;
• In the unlikely event of the school having to close a message will be posted on the school website as soon as is practical (swallowfieldprimary.com) or listen to Heart, Chiltern or Three Counties Radio;
• On bringing your child to school please ensure that the school is open;
• Please ensure the school office has up to date contact numbers – in order to allow the text messaging service (Groupcall) to work.
