Magical Monday – Worm Charming

This week we are learning all about worms! For our Magical Monday activity, we put on our welly boots and headed outside for some worm charming.

First we had to water the grass to trick the worms into thinking it was raining.

Next we jumped up and down on the grass (just like birds).

Then we looked for any worms that had been charmed to the surface.

Unfortunately, due to the very warm weather that we have had recently, we were not very successful. Perhaps you could try again at home after some wet weather and see how many worms you can find!
