Harry Potter Day

On Thursday 24th June, Swallowfield took part in the National Harry Potter Reading event.

It is safe to say the children loved it! It was quite a surreal experience to walk down the corridors and see little wizard and witches, goblins and ghosts all learning their phonics and practising their times tables.

Throughout the day, the children enjoyed Wizardry Word challenges, making wands, creating their own Hogwarts/Swallowfield House Badges and even reading the first Harry Potter book together.
