SCIENCE WEEK

This week has been Science Week at Swallowfield, and it has been another fabulous success. The theme of this year’s Science Week was Animals. Each year group has learned about amazing animal journeys, animal habitats and diets and about classifying animals. To finish the week, the Animal Experience company brought us some of their animal friends to meet…there were snakes, a tarantula, a chameleon, a blue-tongued skink, a large millipede and the stars of the show: Ronnie the Owl and KitKat the Meerkat!  The children very much enjoyed their hands on experience with the animals.
