Vote Swallowfield!
As part of National Gardening Week, this Saturday (18th April) Frosts will be visited by Alan Titchmarsh. We would be pleased if you could pop in there at some time on Saturday to vote for our entry into a growing competition!
Schools have been invited to take part, having been donated a wheelbarrow and compost. We were asked to enter an imaginative and creatively decorated, planted wheelbarrow. Having invited designs from the whole school, the Eco-Committee have combined two of these to create a themed Eco-Village whilst also inviting donations to the Make a Wish Foundation with a wishing well.
The Eco-Committee are currently putting the finishing touches to their creation -( pictures to follow in the gallery!) The first prize of £100 pounds of Frosts Vouchers will be judged by Alan at 2 O’clock, but there will also be a second prize for the entry with the most visitor votes on Saturday. So please support the school as you have so many times before! Thank you.

Eclipse and Science Week
An amazing view of the eclipse, through the cloud coverage was a perfect end to science week this week.
We were fortunate enough to have the Look East TV crew with us filming our school’s coverage of the eclipse. If the footage of Swallowfield (including interviews with Mrs Brewer and Ms Doherty) is chosen it may be on Look East BBC 1 this evening at 6.25pm
We would like to thank the parents for supporting the event all of the children enjoyed a safe and memorable solar eclipse!
Don’t forget all classrooms are open after school today for you to see what we have all been up to during science week.
