The Great British Spring Clean

On Friday 21st April the children at Swallowfield Lower School took part in cleaning and litter picking both around our school and in the local area. Along with the rest of the country, we took our litter pickers, gloves and refuse sacks to pick up any litter we could find. Children in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 were busy collecting litter around our school, while Year 3 and Year 4 walked to the park in Station Road and around the Parklands area. Many thanks to the children and to all the adults involved. We were all showing our commitment to upholding our values!

Community Smiles – The People’s Projects

Swallowfield will be on TV!

Anglia Television (west) are currently offering you the opportunity to vote for community projects to receive additional funding.

One of the projects you may choose is Love Woburn Sands – Community Smiles. The Love Woburn Sands group support lots of the projects at Swallowfield and in the local area. The campaign will be on ITV1 at 6pm this evening and you may see some familiar faces!
