Welcome to Swallowfield Primary and Busy Bees Pre-School
On behalf of the children, staff and Governors I am delighted to welcome you to the Swallowfield Primary Website.
Swallowfield Primary is a values school. The ethos of our school is based on our values of and this includes good manners, respect, kindness and hard work. We have very high expectations of behaviour at Swallowfield.
Our stimulating, exciting curriculum aims to encourage children to develop the skills they need for later life with a very strong focus on the skills of English and Maths. We track pupils progress very carefully and make sure everyone knows the next steps for learning. Our curriculum also covers much wider areas of learning and we offer numerous enrichment activities such as clubs and visits. We work very hard at Swallowfield but we also believe that learning should be fun. Children are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and to develop skills that will make them better learners.
We take part in lots of interschool sports such as football, netball, rugby, tennis and athletics and everybody is encouraged to join in and have fun.
We are committed to working in partnership with our families and community. The children are supported by dedicated parents, staff and governors and by working together we can ensure that all the children achieve their very best.
We are an inclusive school and we try to ensure that we know all our pupils really well. Every child matters at Swallowfield and we value children for all their different strengths and qualities.
