Our Core Values at Swallowfield

From September 2024 we are going to be taking a modified approach to our core values at Swallowfield. This will be in line with our upcoming new Behaviour Policy of ‘Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe’ but will still follow the theory of Values Based Education (VbE).

From September 2024 our core values will be:
Autumn 1 – Respect
Autumn 2 – Responsibility
Spring 1- Friendship
Spring 2- Happiness
Summer 1- Honesty
Summer 2 – Courage

This is so the value each half term is more impactful and we can spend a greater amount of time on our core values. These will be repeated every year and so will likely be more embedded and ingrained in the curriculum and be at the heart of the school.
