Road Safety Week
This week is National Road Safety Week. All children were able to practise the important skill of crossing the road today. We discussed the importance of the following steps:
- Stop (on the pavement in a safe open area)
- Look and Listen (for any vehicles on the road)
- Wait (If vehicles are coming)
- Look and listen again (for any vehicles on the road)
- Cross when safe
We also spoke about how to use a traffic light or zebra crossing carefully.
